limits part i

It's wonderful and bitter to be lost in the desire for anything that is within everybody's reach.

Like the only existing item of its kind being on sale in a novelty shop. Each and everyday you enter the shop, sit beside it, gaze at it as if having eyes for nothing else more. Securing it from the intriguing looks of anyone who might want to do the purchase. Shielding it from on-lookers who would want a glimpse at it. Guarding it from everybody else other than your heart's pleasure.

Hours and days pass and it's time to go home. Away from the comfort zone. Distant from the object you are longing to have and to be with for the rest of your life. Thoughts surge through your brain after some steps outside the shop.

Has anybody bought it already? Is it safe to leave it in there?

Are those freakin' shop staff taking good care of it while it's there? ... while I'm away?

Will I be seeing it tomorrow? the day after? When will I be able to buy it?

Ideas swirl endlessly inside your head. Tormenting your very soul of its patience and reservation. You can't do anything because it's open to everyone with the capacity to desire it completely. And you totally desire it, too. Only you don't have enough ammunition to go straight into battle and win the war.
