I got a copy of a poetry book. I must say, it's quite a fun read. It's already the third installment of the series and I'd be delighted if I'd be able to read the first two.
What's more fun for me was the process of finding it. Because I didn't see even one copy (of any of the three in the series) in any of the bookstores I've been in for the last couple of weeks, I tried phoning several shops. Power Books had the book sold out in all of its branches, while Fully Booked didn't even carry it. Looking for the book was fun because of how the conversations with the attendants went.

PB: Ah.. Blair (emphasis on the word) "Bitch"... Tingnan ko lang po, sir.

PB: The Blair Witch ano po, sir?
Ako: Hindi witch, The Blair "Bitch" Bounces Back.
PB: Bitch? Ah... Bitch.. Blair Bitch..
Ako: (sa isip) Langya, parang gustong-gusto mo 'yung word na bitch ah.
PB: Sir, sold out na po eh.
Ako: Ah. May suggestion ka ba kung saan ako pwedeng makakita 'nun?
PB: Sir, I'll just get you contact number. Tatawag po ako sa ibang branches. Tatanong ko kung meron sila.
Ako: Okay. 09xx-xxxxxxx.
PB: Ano po name, sir?
Ako: (binigay ko pangalan ko)
Well of course, I received a text indicating that the book was sold out in every branch so I didn't bother calling any more of them. Sa Fully Booked, lalake nakausap ko kaya less fun.

sosyal ka naman kasi masyado! :P national bookstore kadaming ganyan...btw, it is better to buy books sa national kasi sa powerbooks nagmamahal yung books kapag sumisikat :)
